Is there a way to stop snoring?
I have tried the sprays and the breathe right strips but nothing is working. I get so embarassed when my gf spends the night and ends up sleeping in the other room cu z i snore so loud. I started having this problem when i was in the Army and it has just progressively gotten worse.
If your snoring is really loud and disruptive, chances are good that you have a condition called sleep apnea, which MUST be taken seriously. Untreated sleep apnea not only stresses both the snorer and everyone else in the house who can’t get a good night’s sleep, it can also lead to heart malfunction and death!
Apnea is easily treated with the use of a night-breathing aid called a CPAP. You must see a sleep doctor before you can get one, as they have to be individually adjusted, but most insurance covers the cost. CPAP eliminates snoring 100% and keeps your heart from being damaged. Surgery is very rarely used to treat apnea, as the success rate is not that good.
Please ask your doctor to refer you to a sleep doctor or sleep clinic ASAP. These facilities often have a long waiting list, and procrastinating can really damage your health. Do it today.
Snoring Problem/Solution?
Hey guys, I’m moving in with my friends in the fall for college and I know I have a very bad/loud snoring problem. I don’t think the nose strips or vapor sprays work that well. Should I give those mouth pieces a try? Should I see a doctor? Can anyone let me know of websites or products that have worked for them? THANKS so much!
I tried everything…strips, sprays, tennis ball in sock pinned to back of shirt….I finally went to the dentist to have a mouthpiece fit and it was prohibitively expensive for me. I just went to walmart and bought a sports mouthguard for $7. I boiled it and fit it to my teeth/mouth….no more snoring. (though I drool on my pillow more now!)
What would you do if you found a tiny little man living inside your pillow?
…And he snores.
I’d put him in a jar with holes. Then I’d pop open the jar and poke him with a stick
Why do people who snore always end up falling asleep before their partners??
I know that the snoring obviously keeps the partner awake so I’m wondering how it’s always the snoring one that manages to fall asleep first….?
Many people who snore have sleep apnea, which causes excessive daytime sleepiness. Since they are so tired from not sleeping enough, they fall asleep quicker.
How much does your partner’s snoring bother you – Is there a solution to this madness, I haven’t slept in days
enough so that i sleep on the couch.
Does anyone have any remedies to help me either stop or somewhat quiet my snoring.?
I have always snored, but the older I get the louder the snoring gets. My husband is at his wits end.
This one works really well! It is well worth it! Everyone in my family is the same way it is really bad!! One of my brothers had to use a CPAP machine for a while because of his sleep apnea, but we finally found the answer to stop snoring and it is awesome!! It is a custom fitted mouthpiece that we purchased on http://www.prosnore.com it really works good and my brother doesn’t even have to use his CPAP anymore!! IT IS AWESOME! GIVE IT A TRY!! how to find solution to snoring while sleep?
if you snore heavily, you could have obstructive sleep apnea, this condition can contribute to heart disease and a host of other problems. Suggest you talk to a doctor about getting a sleep study done.
