PostHeaderIcon Does The Sona Pillow (Anti-Snoring) Actually Work?

It’s sold through Brookstone – does it work?

It is supposed to work. For the right person, who uses the pillow just the right exact way, it could reduce snoring, but it is no perfect solution.

PostHeaderIcon What can I do about a snoring roommate?!?

She knows she snores and once she is asleep she is impossible to wake up.. i’ve tried shaking her, yelling her name, even hitting her with a pillow :) I don’t want to be rude about it, but I end up sleeping on the couch almost every night!! How can I solve this problem without offending her!?

Just say to her ‘You could buy things to help you stop snoring. Like those things over your nose at night.’ but try say it in a joking way.

If she still carries on then tell her that you cant sleep at night and that its not fair on you.

And still if she carries on maybe tell a teacher about it. Im sure he/she will understand.

Sometimes you need to tell her the truth and straight. That its not fair .
If not as a joke buy her some stuff to stop her snoring. Show her how it feels.

:) x

PostHeaderIcon Snoring solution ? Snoring Solutions that Work?

I am looking for a stop snoring solution

Research has shown that a whopping one in four people suffer from snoring. If that weren’t amazing enough, most of those afflicted believe there is nothing to be done for their condition. They don’t realize that a good night’s sleep is within their grasp. Some people are giving a new product called Snorezip a try, and are having great results.

Snorezip was developed to increase oxygen flow and reduce mucus. When oxygen flow is increased and mucus reduced, it has been proven that the incidence of snoring will also be greatly reduced, if not eliminated. This product may be just the thing to get those afflicted with snoring on the road to a restful sleep.

Snoring is not just an annoying habit, but can seriously threaten your health. Doctors claim that patients who snore are more likely to be fatigued, and are more susceptible to life threatening conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Snoring also increases the incidence of high blood pressure and metabolic syndrome. Snorezip, with its proven record of reducing incidence of snoring could help reduce this risk.

SnoreZip is very affordable and easy to use. Most snoring remedies involve the use of uncomfortable masks that must be worn at night. The sheer discomfort of these masks is enough to make most sufferers abandon such a program long before there is any benefit. Since SnoreZip is administered as an oral spray, there’s no excuse not to give it a try. Just spray SnoreZip into your mouth before you go to bed, and you could be minutes away from a good night’s sleep!

Check out the url in the source box below to get a free trial of this product .Having suffered from snoring for years I felt it was the right time to share my snoring solutions that I have tried and help other people learn about their options to help alleviate snoring.

PostHeaderIcon Any idea’s for snoring? (besides pillow smothering)?

My partner drives me insane!! I am sure a lot of people go though this. What actually works? We have tried sprays that work on and off.. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yeah.. go to your dentist..
Ask them if they have nasal strips which goes over the nose. Basically a nasal strip is a piece of flexible plastic embedded in a sticking plaster. The strip is attached across the outside of the nose where the plastic automatically tries to straighten itself out.

The result is a gentle, continuous pressure pulling the nostrils open. This effectively widens the nasal passage and allows for improved airflow. For many people this can be enough to improve the breathing and make a significant difference to their snoring problem.

Most brands of nasal strips are available in different sizes. It’s important to buy the right size – the strip should over the nose only. If it extends to the cheek then the pressure of the plastic will be severely reduced.

Also.. to increase the chance of it working you should:
*not smoke
*don’t drink an hour before sleeping
*sleep on your side
*breathe through your nose
*lose weight
*raise your head with an extra pillow
The best bet is just to see a doctor or dentist,
and they could also diagnose him for sleep apnea.

(Obstructive sleep apnea can be caused by obstruction to or collapse of the upper airways during sleep. Such obstruction may be the result of illness, genetic makeup, lifestyle issues or simple age. A common symptom is snoring, although not all heavy snorers suffer from sleep apnea.)

for now.. you might need ear plugs or muffs :-)

hope this helps!

PostHeaderIcon Any ideas for a snoring boyfriend?

My boyfriend snores like crazy when he sleeps and it keeps me up all night. We have tried everything under the sun from nasal sprays to those breath right strips and nothing works. The only time he stops is when I wake up every 10 minutes to push him onto his stomach. Not only does he snore, but he also grinds his teeth. I am about at my wits end with it because I’m the only one who isn’t sleeping. Lately I have been getting up and going to the couch but this pisses him off that I leave him in the middle of the night. Any ideas other than putting a pillow over his head and holding it?

Have him talk to his doctor about it, who may prescribe a sleep study.

Many people who snore loudly also suffer from sleep apnea, which can be harmful in a number of ways, including to the heart. The only way to be a true, lasting solution is to take this route.

How do I know? My partner just went for a study and they have prescribed an apnea machine. I really, really, REALLY look forward to the prospect of sleeping well again . . . :o )
