Most snoring occurs when the person lays on their back. Sew a tennis ball or hockey puck into the back of all his pajamas so that when he lays on his back it makes him uncomfortable and he must flip over on his side.

My husband used to snore like a wallowing warthog, it was deafening. Then he gave up drinking alcohol. Now he sleeps as sweetly and as quietly as a baby. You might find your husband a little resistant to this idea and you’ll have to try it for quite a while but it’s better than open nose surgery or whatever! Good Luck.
References :
1. Get ear plugs
2. Get a sleep study for your husband to find out if there are other problems related to his snoring, such as sleep apnea.
3. Ask your dentist about an anti-snoring appliance.
