I’m going to refer to this girl at she and her.(no names)

Ok so I’m a 16 year old guy and shes a 16 year old girl, both in highschool. In middle school I was a dick and a "player" you could say, so I made fun of this girl and now I feel so bad. She is the nicest girl and if I could take it back, I would.

I hadn’t talked to her or seen her since middle school, up until a few nights ago at my friends party. We all were taking shots and getting drunk, so of course there are those few people that have to "babysit" the rest, even if they are drunk themselves(we can hold our liquor and have control). Well it was me and her(suprisingly enough we had the most to drink but we were the two babysitting). This was the first time I was actually being nice to this girl…

So at first it was all good, we were all sitting down *Trying* to play cards so I sat down next to her and started flirting with her and stuff, trying to help her with a card game I couldn’t figure out myself(she found that pretty funny). Then everyone went in the other room and me and her just talked about how the others can’t hold their liquor and stuff like that(we were still drunk, remember).

Then she starts freaking out and says she is supposed to be home in 20min. So my friend(the party holder and oldest) offers to drive her home. He was drunk as fuck so I stepped in and said no way, I will walk you home right now but nobody is driving. She said thank you but I want to try and stay anyway. So she stayed.

Then her friend( another girl) was about to get drunk raped by my friend (hes a fucking meathead, I know) so after she tried stopping it, she called for me and I got my friend off of the girl and everything was ok.

So then everyone went into the theatre part of the house (literally like a mini movie theatre with leather recliners and shit haha), everyone was in the first two rows and she went to the back row by herself because it was cramped. So then I acted like I was giving them more room and went back and sat with her. She was all worried about her friend and stuff but I just keep reassuring her that it was gonna be alright.

Then it got to the point that we were all sober (yes we were drunk for that long,lol) and everyone started going to sleep. The lights went off and I was still sitting on this leather couch recliner with her. -NOW I don’t know if this was a good or bad move- I thought to myself, hey here is a good chance to get laid tonight(old me)…. Then I remembered how I acted to this girl in middle school and I didn’t want to do anything else that would hurt her or embarass her so I got up and let her have the couch while I slept on the floor next to her(new me). She said she felt bad and stuff but I really didn’t know if I should have slept with her or not??? I was just trying to be as much of a good guy as possible. It seems like I did the right thing but I just don’t know?

So her and I ended up getting no sleep due to my friends excessive snoring and everyone else passing out. The next day I went home and slept all day, and woke up in the evening and saw that she messaged me on Facebook. Here is the message.

I just wanted to say thank you for offering to walk me home and helping me with grace last night. It was really nice of you.

No problem at all. We all should hang out again sometime, it was a fun night besides the ending and stuff.

Hahah yeah I would love too. I enjoyed it too, besides the end. Lol

We are still messaging back and forth on that message and we are hanging out tomorrow. Is there any way to get this girl to like me besides trying to get her in bed or acting like a dick to people. I probably sound like the biggest jackass you guys have heard but I’m trying to break apart from my old ways and be a good guy. Obviously you guys can see that I’ve somehow gotten feeling for this girl and I like her alot.

What should I do with her? What do girls like guys to do for them? If you’ve read all this than I thank you and please help me out! Give me some tips or advice please and thank you!

I think that just keep doing what your doing. Don’t try to sleep with her until it seems like shes ready for it and keep being a nice guy cause it sounds like thats working

i didn’t know i had to have one, id prefer not to but my bastard fiance has been quite distant prior to all this wedding if he is the same after it i will certainly have to take him to the sharia law but at least this marriage isn’t legitimately recognised so my life will be very easy to move on with and learn from either way.
i do like him and care about him. But im not sure if this is what he wants, i know i don’t. it is what my mum and dad want! i wanted to talk to him more after our wedding about other stuff and what ever but my mum and dad said he was a bit surprised with my planning, but i know if i was in his position or mine i would speak much more to some body about it..
so this is where i am confused and i will speak to my sister is well. but i want to hear my dad talk to him with me there so i know what is really going on! either way i think i would prefer time with respect and consideration for one another because him and me have all the time for absolutely any thing in the world and i would mostly prefer it if my parents were not involved in between us! But what frustrates me is he isn’t communicating much and so i can hardly know or tell about things! and that is what i want if he can’t do that either way i understand he is a nice person but i can’t have that or deal with it.

Other than that i feel it is rather childish because i will feel tired need to wash up and go to bed!
and i would prefer it if he showed me the initiative to sort out our house instead! understandably if he needs time that is fine but i he needs to be more communicative or let me make my arrangements or other plans and i haven’t been informed or clarified on all these things going on.

All i know is im ‘actually’ pleasing my parents and being forced to spend my wedding night with him when he doesn’t even talk properly to me acts like a dead insect and i will be too tired to put on a smiley face if i have to at the end of a tiring very long day. i will be up at 6am getting ready, i have planned and organised the event on my own! and if any body needs emergency help or advice i will be on hold because my parents will turn it in to there fairy tale, 150 years ago wedding ideal.

I know i am mature either way with this But its frustrating with the lack of planning and communication amongst every body! I don’t know how to confront him prior to the event it is just 3 days.

It is all very inconvenient,
Out of curiosity what the heck do i do, honestly i would like and if i can ignore my surroundings and fall to bed after every thing! i will be talking a lot of him during the event so im not sure how much to talk later because im not that consistently talkative, and i hate entertaining people! But i put effort in planning a lovely event but right now im feeling like after that even this is just quite inconsiderate. it is like they aren’t pleased or happy after every thing i did! just because i want a good nights rest to freshen up for the next morning and feel like a had an enjoyable time the day before to reflect back. I know bad rest after that will ruin my mind and i will like a final good sleep after it is all done and over and every thing has gone well! but i really feel this is quite inconsiderate and i believe the demands are childish.

Personal stuff – I am wearing false lashes, a corset, hairpeices, a victorian skirt under garment on the day and i don’t feel too comfortable sorting my whole self out with that brat there(my fiance).
Also, i didn’t bother losing weight because i didn’t think i was going to have a wedding night just yet! Imagine my fat popping out inside the bed! and worse things.. Or what if he snores, or i snore! or his feet smell… /:
Mostly i just want my privacy in getting ready for bed because i know will have a hard day, with too much on and i like to like jump on bed and stuff and just do my things how i like to and forget about the day!! and prepare or reflect on any thing if needed in the morning, I just don’t get this!!!
i haven’t had a bf or a wedding before, and i already to be quite honest with my self often feel like he isn’t being that great and i know i don’t really need him either. but i thought he was good. and some times realistically that might be a bother.
if i was the guy i too would have some common sense and patience and efforts towards communicating properly at least!!!!!!! or i would sod it and get along with some one who can get along with moi.
im just asking for a little considertion, and if possible ’some people’ to be a bit more thoughtful.

My in-laws stay at our house for weeks at a time. They live across the country and don’t really have permanent jobs, so they come up for pretty frequent and lengthy visits. I understand that they want to visit their son and grand-daughter, but for his parents and adult sister to stay here for 3 weeks at a time…that’s a bit much. We only have a 2 bedroom house and no spare room, so they all stay in our living room…and kind of lounge around all day. They sleep late, snore, insist my daughter wear socks and shoes all the time (even when indoors) and have odd superstitions about sleeping with their feet facing the street (which they wanted me to rearrange my living room for). They also don’t want me to put my daughter to sleep with HER feet facing the street.

This is not all. My father-in-law insists on peeing in our basement drain instead of using the bathroom, because he doesn’t want to wait for someone to get out of it. They leave their dirty clothes laying on the floor. They leave styrofoam plates (which they insist on using even though we’re trying to be green in this house) and dirty napkins lying around, along with old food and wrappers. They always go out for fast food and then leave everything lying around my house. My father-in-law leaves his pills out on the counter where my daughter could get them, and swears and uses homophobic and racial slurs in front of my 2 year old daughter and makes fun of her dvds. He also got so drunk at my sister’s wedding that he started trying to fight with my husband and ended up falling down.

My mother-in-law keeps insisting that I give my daughter tests to see if she’s learning properly and can speak well enough for her age. I have no concerns, nor does anyone else who knows my daughter, yet my mother-in-law insists on handing me these tests, and asking all of her relatives (who have not seen my daughter since she was 6 weeks old) if they think she’s speaking well enough…

My husband knows all of these things bother me. He did speak up once after his brother threw up all over our basement because he was so drunk and his parents dog peed in our basement on all of our belongings. Other than that, I cannot get him to say too much to them. He doesn’t want to hurt their feelings, especially his mom’s.

Recently, I got angry with his mom because she was insisting I give my daughter these tests again…I vented on Face-book to my friends (forgetting that his sister was also on Face-book) and then she called me a Close-minded **shole. Then his sister called his other family members and told them all that I was saying bad things about her mom. Then my mother-in-law went to MY mom’s house crying and telling my mom that I was saying mean things about her and then preceded to give MY mother the tests that I didn’t want to give my daughter, so that SHE could give them to my daughter. My mom (being very patient and understanding) did give my daughter the tests and my daughter scored very highly, as I never doubted she would.

But, my husband’s entire family hates me now AND they have managed to create such a rift between us, that we are now discussing divorce. My husband has already told his friends that it is over. I don’t even understand how he can take their side after what I’ve put up with ?! What can I possibly do to make him see that I am not the bad guy in all of this? I am pretty much shocked at how out of control this has all gotten….all because I offended his mom via something his sister told him that I said (which was not even mean)….wow!

Oh dear, you do have a problem, firstly, you need to ask your husband out to dinner, out of the house away from them, take him to some quiet place where the two of you can talk. Dont hold back, tell him how you feel and lay down some bounderies, dont forget this is your life and that of your daughters too, not just his. I am really thinking you and your daughter would be better off without him, because it sounds like he cant break the apron strings from his family. You need to tell him that you are going to tell his parents and sister to leave immediately, and if they do not, then you have to be prepared to remove your daughter and yourself from the house until he comes to his senses. If you have to do this, give him a time limit to get rid of his family from your home, and if this is not done, then take legal action and consider leaving him also. If he is at the stage of siding with his family against you, then he is not your husband, and you should not be wasting your time with him. If you dont make a stand now, he will stand over you for the rest of your life together. Not only do you have yourself to consider but that of your daughter as well, my god, get her out of there please……. Good Luck
