Get him to see a doc. There’s a clinical solution to it. Or he is fat?

He probably has sleep aepnea and might need surgery to correct the defect.

he might have a form of sleep apnea. it is something that runs in ,y family as far as the males go. he might not be breathing in his sleep, (well sometimes u can stop breathing for a few seconds). get it checked out, go c ur doc!

Because most snorers sleep on their back, one good way of stopping it is by making the snorer turn over. Another snoring treatment which is said to be quite effective involves rubbing aromatic herbs on the snorers chest at bedtime, and seems to work by opening the respiratory tract. Some people say drinking hot milk at bedtime helps.
and dont put a lot of high pillows under his head

try to lift his head by adding a extra pillow. that may help the flow of his breathing and stop the snoring or at least quiet it down some

Luckily mine hubby’s a shift worker, so most of time he’s at work when I’m sleeping so it’s not often an issue.

However, on the odd occasion we’re actually home at the same time, he almost always ends up going to bed first. On these nights, I end up kicking him in the leg, or poking him in the ribs to make him roll over.

If all else fails, I steal the blanket & go sleep on the lounge. At least that way I get some sleep.

my husband had a sleep study done for snoring and yes he has sleep apnea and needed a c-pap machine that pumps oxygen in and the snoring stopped and he has alot more energy.but you have to see a doc for the machine cause they run about 300.00 on eBay.

I just simply bump my husband and say "Your Snoring" and he knows to automatically turn to his side. He doesn’t even remember it the next morning. Have you given that a try??

Help him by sending him to a sleep lab for sleep study. His problem may be more serious than you think. My significant did the same thing to me and I still snore. But now she understands this. So once he is back from sleep lab you will understand this as well. Mind you it is a very expensive test and hopefully you have a good insurance to cover this expenses.

My husband & his mother snore… try sleeping first…
You’re trying to deal with only his snoring!
    Imagine having two of them!

Right now he sleeps in a separate room… works pretty well! : )

I have a snoring husband but he has a medical problem
if your husband don’t have a med problem
    their is many reason why
1- because he is very tired
2- he sleeps with his mouth open if so then you can take him to a breathing theraphist to teach him how to breath
my husband had to have a sinus op in August he still snores from time to time so now I made an appt with a breathing therapist to teach him how to breath again
If none of these dillama is valide for you
    try yoga, relaxation before bed
but I would advice you not used those over the counter med
you will be wasting money and since we dont’ know the long term effect of these meds
I use to try to fall asleep before my husbandand hope that I don’t wake up in the middle of the night
I am sorry that I was’t much help

Have you considered that there might be a health related reason to his snoring? There is a serious one called sleep apnea. His labored breathing indicates he isn’t getting enough oxygen and this can take its toll on his organs. Is he tired during the day despite having had adequate sleep?

Maybe it is something as simple as having his adnoids removed from his nasal passages which would free up the area and allow air to pass thru more efficiently. Have him see an ENT.

ive tried everything, and trust me i mean everything, ive spent hours at night patting his back so he doesnt snore, but then i end up not sleeping. He is super sensitive about his snoring,
he has tried everything, even breathe right.
in the end, i chose some ear plugs. but i have to be sure to get up before him as to not let him see that he snores so dang loud.
take him to the docs and get him checked out, if not, they have some great ear plugs these days.

you should take it positively….isn’t it nice when you woke up in the middle of the night by a bad dream, in total darkness, you will feel relieve when you hear his snor, he’s there for you.

My aunt ever say: if one day, i didn’t hear my husband snor, i’ll not be able to sleep in peace……this is LOVE.
