PostHeaderIcon Kevorkian: I Have “No Regrets” Being “Dr. Death”

John Roberts asked Dr. Jack Kevorkian if he would still be willing to help terminally ill patients end their lives. “Not now,” he said. “it wouldn’t serve any purpose.” Though he said he had “no regrets” on his career as “Dr. Death.” “It’s my duty,” he said.

He also said that life in prison was “boring” and complained about how “a lot of people snore in prison.”

As far as the Michael Jackson case, he said he didn’t know all of the facts, but he said Dr. Conrad Murray was “trying to conform to the patient’s wishes. That’s what a good doctor should do.” “As long as it’s in conformity with regular medical ethics,” he had no problem with what Murray did on the day Jackson died. Kevorkian also hinted the King of Pop might have been on a “suicide campaign” of his own.

    I have never really …
I have never really liked John Roberts, I have seen him in other interviews, and he just reminds me of a tool. In this interview I am 100% percent on Dr. Kevorkian’s side.

    there is nothing …
there is nothing wrong with what he did. no one wants to die but would you rather suffer excruciating pain day after day, while knowing you are terminally ill. if it were me dying slowly and painfully in that hospital bed and no one would pull the plug on me, heck, i’d pull it myself.

    He was not dubbed …
He was not dubbed Dr. Death for assisting those in need of his compassionate service.

He was know as Dr. Death long before he assisted people like my son, Nick Loving, who suffered from Lou Gehrig’s syndrome.

This blessed doctor ended my son’s suffering in 1995, that was what my son wanted. It was something he begged for, his own death.

What is death? It is transition. Life goes on!

Boy, John Roberts & his little cookie look like shallow, mindless individuals-not reporters.

Stupid questions: Any regrets? Would you still do it now?

Why not ask about the AMA and how long it will block the people’s right to euthanasia, a good death?

If 80% of American people want to be master of their own destiny, and you have suffered on behalf of compassion, how long will it take, doctor, before this country will grant her people their natural born right to die?

Believer, I too had to make a choice about a beloved pet who was very, very old and suffering. She may not have asked me to put her to sleep but at the time of her death, knowing her for 17 years, she was relieved and ready to go. And your right, the greedy bastards want to suck every nickel and ounce of humanity out of you right up to your death. I support assisted suicide.
